FeedBurner FeedSmith

For best results using FeedBurner with your self-organised WordPress site, we recommend the FeedBurner FeedSmith plugin (originally written by the brilliant Steve Smith). The plug-in can detect all possible means to access your feed (eg http://www.yoursite.com/feed/ or http://www.yoursite.com/wp-rss2.php…) and to redirect to your FeedBurner feed to follow all subscribers. It will transmit to your main electrical supply, and possibly your main observations feed too.

* Download the plug and then follow the instructions below to start forwarding all feed WordPress FeedBurner traffic to your feed.

Installation
1. Copy the file plug, FeedBurner_FeedSmith_Plugin.php default directory in your
WordPress plugin, wp-content/plugins.

2. Activate the plug by logging into your administration area WordPress, clicking
Plugins then clicking Enable at the end of the "FeedBurner FeedSmith" row.

3. In the area of administration of WordPress, start the configuration by clicking
on Options, then the sub-option FeedBurner.

Follow the links to create your FeedBurner feed or, if they exist, simply fill out
their URL in the appropriate boxes.


NOTE: If you are currently using the old, vintage 2005-version of the list of commands FeedBurner plugin that generates a specific URL FeedBurner (an example: www.yoursite.com/feedburner_838196/), the URL is no longer available or necessary. You may have to reset your diet FeedBurner's Original Feed now use your blog address standard feed address. In addition, you must consider everything. 5. Check your URL in the fields text entry, and then click Save.


6. Now, all your WordPress feed traffic should be redirected to FeedBurner.


Deactivation

To deactivate automatic transmission of your feed traffic to FeedBurner, disable the plugin using the WordPress plugins administration of your control panel.

* Podcasting with WordPress? So you should use SmartCast ™. It will ensure maximum compatibility for your WordPress podcast feed. (Be sure to check the settings on your food if you plan to podcast with WordPress.)

Check the WordPress feed podcasting

Are you using WordPress for podcasting? If so, it is important to know that newer versions of WordPress automatically linked to convert MP3 files RSS enclosures, but by using our service SmartCast ™ ensures maximum compatibility and reliability for your podcast. Either way, you will need to ensure that you are publishing a "full text" feed your links in order to make the RSS feed. Here's how you can check if your original site WordPress feed format:
